TTG Canada was approached by Rugby Canada in 2015 to collaborate on a bid to host the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series and shape an iconic sporting event in Western Canada. While raising awareness and building understanding of the crowd-thrilling Sevens, we drove hype, tickets, and partnership sales – largely to non-rugby fans with the incorporation of the Fancy Dress tradition.


From 2016 to 2024, we developed the overarching marketing, creative, and content strategy, master brand, ticketing campaign, and partnership and hospitality platforms for the sport organization’s largest revenue driving event.

 

Beyond the stadium, we contribute to significant community engagement efforts and planning as part of the tournament including youth clinics, fan events, and more to connect the community with the sport of rugby and visiting teams.
